The Transpac 700 is specifically designed to pack case-ready meat and poultry trays into shipping containers or returnable plastic totes.

Case-Ready Tray Loader
Loads Case-Ready Trays at Rates up to 100/min
The Transpac 700 series is designed specifically for packing case-ready meat trays into shipping containers. It is designed to automatically load all known case-ready tray sizes into shipping containers at speeds up to 100 trays per minute. The Transpack 700 packs uniform and mixed (or interlocking) tray patterns. The Transpack is fabricated in stainless steel. Wash-down components are standard.
Pearson’sTranspack 700 has a small footprint and can be configured to receive cases from the front, rear, or side. It handles corrugated cases, corrugated trays, or returnable plastic totes. An optional module inserts a corrugated or chipboard pad between tray layers as they are being loaded. The 700 modular design permits the individual user to incorporate specific features and functions, and make future changes.
With the optional product Collator, the Transpac 700 can receive randomly up to six different sealed meat trays and pack them into three different shipping containers. Trays are scanned and sorted by product code. The Collator option includes an enhanced operator interface that allows the operator to instantly add, delete, or change any of the six different trays and the associated shipping container. Optional control outputs are available to support labeling for shipping containers.
The Transpac 700 automatically loads complete layers of case-ready trays. A novel Pick Table and Pick Head assembly moves a complete layer of case-ready trays gently into the shipping container. The Pick Table retracts as the Pick Head lowers the trays into the shipping container using guides and special vacuum cups that keep trays level and prevent damage to trays, labels, and film lids. The servo-driven Pick Table and Pick Head reduce acceleration during loading to prevent movement of meat products in trays.
Fully loaded shipping containers are indexed away from the load station in a number of possible directions, depending on plant requirements. In some situations it is indexed directly onto an optional take-away conveyor and in others it is indexed to a pre-discharge position in order to be fed on to a common take-away conveyor that is designed to receive output from multiple Transpac 700.
